ECOMET Zinc Al Flake coatings were made by combination of Zinc and Aluminium flakes, electrically conductive Binder system with integrated lubricants for adjusting co-efficient of friction. The coating is conductive which helps to protect catholically and aluminium flake helps to reduce of white oxidation build-up. ECOMET coatings are Non-Electrolytically applied (as per ISO10683/ASTM F1136) by mechanical application techniques with combination of Organic or Inorganic topcoat sealers. The coating could be an alternate to zinc and other electroplating in terms of properties and pollution related aspects.

ECOMET coating offers high performance corrosion protection for bulky metal components. It is applied using a so-called dip-spinning process. The layer is made up of a base coat and topcoat. The base coat is made up of zinc and aluminium flakes; the zinc gives cathode corrosion protection. What is more, the zinc and aluminium flakes produced in the dry film form a barrier to reduce the impact of corrosive media including oxygen, electrolytes, etc. thereby enhancing the life of the complete protective system.

Product Details:

Dip Spin Coating Setup with monthly output of 30MT/60MT/120MT/300MT Per month are few of our prominent setups done all over India.

Dip spin coating machine is mainly based on Zinc-Al Flake Coating. 
It consist of a Base coat which is either Water or Solvent Based, and applied of over metal surface post its per treatment which may consist of Degreasing followed by Shot Blasting. Coating application is done via Dip Machine or Spraying and then the job is cured in furnace at a temeperature depending on the metal size and paint.
Post curing the job is anti corrosive, has a smooth and even texture.

Various top coats can be applied via Dip Spin or Spray method over base coat. Top coats can also be applied over Electroplated components for extended SST life and color appearance.
